Let's Enlarge Our Vision
We want to continue to strive for something greater than what we are. Our ministry is to build inward as well as to reach outward. For that we must have vision.
Helen Keller was once asked what would be worse than being born blind. She immediately responded, "To have sight and no vision."
Proverds 29:18 tell us: "Without a vision, the perple perish." The old proverbs put it this way: "He who aims at nothing, hits it ever time!" And, "He who fails to plan, plans to fail!"
Our prayer and vision is to be far greater that we are. Then, when vision is fufilled, God must receive the glory, since only He could accomplish such a great thing....DREAM BIG!
OUR PURPOSE
We, the singers and instrumentalists of Estill Springs Church of the Nazarene, have a great responsibility. To be chosen to serve as leaders of worship and praise before our congregation is a high calling. We are more than a choir and orchestra; we are the worship leaders and ministers through music. As we worship God actively in our services, the spirit of heaviness is broken and the worshipper is clothed with the garment of praise. The expressions on our faces and the authenticity we demonstrated will extend to the congregation and inspire the members to praise the Lord and enter into the Holy of Holies. When the body of Christ begins to worship in one accord, the Lord will move in mighty ways.
